G-Dragon and Son Heung Min have revealed their close friendship, sharing stories about exchanging thoughtful gifts.
On October 6, a new video titled 'The One and Only Threeshot! Kang Ho Dong X G-Dragon X Son Heung Min’s Dr. Mureuppak' was uploaded on the YouTube channel Hana TV.
During the episode, Kang Ho Dong noticed G-Dragon and Son Heung Min chatting comfortably and asked, “Do you two already know each other? Son Heung Min replied, “Of course we do,” prompting Kang Ho Dong to recall, “I think I saw an article about your world-class friendship. You even exchanged gifts, right?”
When asked if he had always been interested in football, G-Dragon affectionately replied, “It’s not that I just like football, I like Son Heung Min as a player.” Kang Ho Dong playfully teased him, “Then what about wrestling?” to which G-Dragon quickly responded, “I like champions,” making everyone laugh.
Son Heung Min also expressed his admiration for G-Dragon, saying, “Who doesn’t like Big Bang? We talked a lot when we met.” He added that he has recently been listening to G-Dragon’s track "Power" quite often. Kang Ho Dong joined in, saying, “I actually listen to "Power" every day too, and I love perfumes! But I guess I didn’t get one,” pretending to be disappointed. Fortunately, the trio had prepared a lucky draw to exchange gifts.
Kang Ho Dong picked a special gift from Son Heung Min, a Korean national team uniform. “It’s not something extravagant,” Son explained. “It’s the same jersey I wear in matches, and it carries my determination and effort.”
G-Dragon received a “Happiness Tree” from Kang Ho Dong, and Son Heung Min picked a camping chair and table set prepared by G-Dragon. “I’ll set it up at home,” said Son, laughing, to which G-Dragon added, “I don’t really go camping either, but I have one at home.” Son agreed, “Same here,” and the two burst into laughter.
“It’s more of a gift from the heart,” G-Dragon joked, making everyone laugh again. He went on to share, “I wanted to give him a limited-edition perfume, so I did. He always gives me something too.” Son Heung Min added modestly, “They’re just small gifts,” confirming that the two often exchange thoughtful presents.
