Footage of a former contestant from Mnet's 'Boys II Planet' allegedly assisting in the subjugation of a drunken civilian is going viral on X.
In the series of footages recently shared on X, a passerby first records an alarming scene of a man assaulting another man, believed to be a taxi driver, in the road. In the next footage, the taxi driver is back on his feet, while a group of approximately 4 civilians are seen working together to subdue the assailant. (Details such as when this occurrence took place are unknown.)
From this video, one fan claimed, "Okay that really is Sun Heng Yu... WTH? Sun Heng Yu stepped in to help a taxi driver being assaulted by a drunk."
It's believed that the figure in the gray top and the black pants in the second video is Sun Heng Yu, a former contestant on 'Boys II Planet'.
In fact, fans also suspected that the voice heard in the third video, repeating, "We are filming! Don't break it!" is Sun Heng Yu's as well.
Soon after the video went viral and caused a significant buzz, Sun Heng Yu indirectly acknowledged fans' concerns via Instagram story, writing,
"I'm fine. I wasn't hurt, so please don't worry."
Netizens commented in response,
"That's really commendable."
"I hope he wasn't hurt and that the taxi driver is okay too TTT."
"He is such a good soul TT. Too good TT."
"That takes courage, especially when he could have gotten seriously hurt."

Meanwhile, Sun Heng Yu debuted as a member of the K-Pop boy group BLANK2Y in May of 2022. Following the group's disbandment in 2023, the idol appeared as a contestant on Mnet's 'Boys II Planet' to pursue his lost dream one more time.
