The group CORTIS made a surprise appearance at Son Heung Min’s home stadium.
On October 5th (local time), CORTIS was officially invited to the 2025 Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season home match between LAFC and Atlanta United, held at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, USA. BMO Stadium is the home ground of LAFC, where Son Heung Min plays. On that day, the members drew attention by wearing uniforms featuring Son Heung Min’s name and jersey number.
CORTIS became the first Korean artist to appear as an LAFC Honorary Falconer. This ceremonial role has previously featured celebrities such as actor Will Ferrell and singer Meghan Trainor. Those invited as Honorary Falconers release the team’s mascot falcon to signal the start of the match.
Both domestic and international broadcasters expressed high interest, saying, “We hope this becomes a memorable moment for CORTIS and brings good energy to the LAFC players,” and “We are witnessing a Korean celebrity interacting with LAFC.”
On the day, LAFC won 1-0, securing their fifth consecutive victory, while CORTIS became known among local sports fans as the “Victory Fairy,” gaining significant attention online.
Previously, CORTIS had also made a strong impression on American baseball fans. Major League Baseball (MLB) used CORTIS’s song "GO!" in a 2025 postseason promotional video, which was broadcast across TV, radio, social media, and stadiums.
Even after completing their official debut album promotions, the group has continued to accept invitations in the U.S. without pause. They will attend the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Los Angeles on October 11th to watch the battle scene.
This marks the first time Red Bull has collaborated with a K-pop artist. On October 12th, they will host a "GO!" Dance Workshop, where members who created the choreography will teach fans directly.
