Big Bang’s Daesung shared the thoughtful gift he gave to Taeyang’s son for his first birthday celebration.
On October 24, a new episode titled 'Beenzino & Michova’s Daughter REVEALED?' was uploaded to Daesung’s YouTube channel, ZIP DAESUNG. In the video, Beenzino mentioned plans for his son’s upcoming first birthday party, prompting Daesung to ask, “Is there anything you need for the celebration?”
When Beenzino replied, “We don’t really need anything,” Daesung playfully suggested, “Then how about a nice stone for the ceremony?” Beenzino jokingly responded, “If you’re giving me something, make it a rock,” which drew laughter from both of them.
Daesung went on to explain his thoughtful approach to gift-giving, recalling his experience attending Taeyang’s son’s first birthday. “If you need anything, just let me know. I like to have an opportunity to express myself too,” he said. “When my brother Taeyang held his baby’s first birthday party, Min Hyo Rin sister told me what they needed. It was a baby food maker, I think? I got that for them, and she said she’s been using it really well. I don’t know much about that kind of stuff, so it really helps when someone lets me know.”
Beenzino humorously added, “Rubin needs monitor speakers that cost around 20 million KRW (about 14,000 USD). He really likes listening to kids’ songs and keeps coming into my studio to hear music.” Daesung quickly shut down the extravagant idea with a laugh, saying, “Then you’d better make sure IAB STUDIO is doing really well by the time he grows up.”
The lighthearted exchange between Daesung and Beenzino once again highlighted Daesung’s witty personality and his thoughtful nature toward friends and family.
