Actors Suzy and Kim Woo Bin of the new Netflix series 'Genie, Make a Wish' appeared as guests on the September 27 installment of 'Just an Excuse', discussing their close bond with their siblings.
On this day, host Yoo Jae Suk asked Suzy, "Do you have any siblings?", to which Suzy replied, "I have an older sister and a young brother. I'm very close with my older sister. But my younger brother, well.. I don't keep in touch with him as often (laughter)."
Yoo Jae Suk then followed up with, "When was the last time you talked with your younger brother?", and Suzy said, "He asked me for allowance (laughter)."
She went on, "He texted me saying, 'Noona (heart)(heart)(heart)'. You must be busy with filming, right? (heart)(heart). I'm doing well too (heart)(heart), but I have some bills that I need to pay (heart)(heart). Don't tell mom btw (heart)(heart)."
Yet, despite her brother's painstaking efforts to win over his generous sister, Suzy responded to his request with, "Actually I told him to ask mom (laughter)."
On the other hand, Kim Woo Bin, who has a younger sister, revealed that he has received allowance from his sister in the past. He explained, "My family home is gated. So once, I went in past the gate, and the car was parked there. And she'd stuck an envelope filled with allowance in the windshield wipers, and the envelope read, 'Have a good time on your trip'."
While MCs Yoo Jae Suk and Yang Se Chan marveled in awe, Suzy muttered next to Kim Woo Bin, "Younger female siblings are truly different. I've never had that happen with my little brother," once again causing laughter.
Kim Woo Bin also added on, "I did use the allowance. But I saved the envelope she gave me in a drawer in my closet. It's very precious," demonstrating his affection for his sister.
