On the September 25 broadcast of SBS variety show 'One Shot Project – My Turn,' episode 8 followed Lee Kyung Kyu as he sought investors.
During this episode, Lee Kyung Kyu and his manager, Kim Won Hoon, personally set out to find an investor to ensure the success of "Ppongtan Boys." The person who appeared before them was none other than Lee Soo Ji, a wealthy woman said to resemble Tang Wei. Kim Won Hoon said, "She invested billions of KRW in a major entertainment company before. If we just keep her in a good mood today, I think we can secure a similar amount," raising Lee Kyung Kyu’s hopes.
However, 'Tangtangi' did not make her investment decision easily. She said, "I’m cautious when it comes to investing. I can’t just throw money around. I called my Korean boyfriend. I’ll decide once he arrives."
The boyfriend turned out to be Seo Jang Hoon. Seo Jang Hoon admitted, "Don’t tell anyone. We’ve been together for a while," confessing that they had been secretly dating for about a year. Lee Soo Ji tried to kiss Seo to show her affection, and Seo added, "We’re in love more than people think," expressing his feelings openly.
Seo Jang Hoon also showed a positive stance toward investing in Ppongtan Boys. He persuaded her by saying, “Honey, this is a hyung I really care about. Please invest if you can. It’s not much money—it’s like the price of a pack of gum for you.”
Meanwhile, Lee Soo Ji expressed dissatisfaction by calling Tak Jae Hoon an “old man.” She said, “I don’t like old men. If you want my investment, take him out,” and added, “Our Jang Hoon suits the team much better. If you add him as a member, I can invest 10 billion KRW (7.1 million USD).”
Shaken, the members eventually betrayed Tak Jae Hoon. When everyone raised their hands for his removal, Lee Kyung Kyu declared, "We’ll take the 10 billion," and shouted, “Tak Jae Hoon, you’re out!” Within just 10 seconds, Tak Jae Hoon’s departure was decided, and he was unable to hide his grim expression.
