IST Entertainment addresses controversy surrounding 'Boys II Planet' contestant Kim Si Hwan

IST Entertainment, home to 'Boys II Planet' contestants Kim Dong Gyu, Kim Si Hwan, Rensho, and Arctic, has stepped up to address the controversy surrounding contestant Kim Si Hwan.

In a statement released on September 5 KST, IST Entertainment clarified the rumors alleging that Kim Si Hwan had transferred high schools due to his involvement in a school bullying case. The agency also relayed the contestant's apology for his immaturity during his youth, indirectly addressing footage of Kim Si Hwan during his school days with his friends. 

Meanwhile, a number of contestants on the ongoing Mnet survival program faced various rumors and controversies, including Kim Geon Woo, Lee Leo, Kang Woo Jin, and more. 

Mnet's 'Boys II Planet' airs every Thursdays at 9:20 PM KST.
