Former T-ara member Soyeon expressed her joy as her husband, soccer player Cho Yu Min, was named to the Korean national team.
On September 29th KST, Soyeon shared the Korea Football Association’s announcement of the national squad on social media.
The roster included top stars such as Son Heung Min, Kim Min Jae, Lee Kang In, and Hwang Hee Chan—alongside Cho Yu Min’s name.
Soyeon wrote, “They say the chance of becoming a player on Korea’s A-team is just 0.025%. I feel more deeply grateful every time.” She added a heart emoji next to her husband’s name to show her affection.
The squad, announced by head coach Hong Myung Bo, will face Brazil and Paraguay in friendly matches next month.
Soyeon debuted in 2009 with the members of T-ara, rising to fame with hits such as “Bo Peep Bo Peep,” “Roly Poly,” and “Lovey Dovey.”
In 2022, she married soccer player Cho Yu Min, nine years her junior. Cho currently plays for Sharjah FC in the United Arab Emirates, and the couple resides in Dubai.
