
On September 16, HB Entertainment announced that its exclusive contract with actor Jo Byeong Kyu has come to an end. The agency expressed their continued support for the actor’s future endeavors.
“Jo Byeong Kyu has been with us for a long time, and we sincerely thank him for the trust and dedication he has shown throughout our partnership,” the agency stated. “We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the fans who have consistently supported him and hope they continue to watch over him with warm interest and affection.”
Jo Byeong Kyu made his acting debut in 2015 with 'Who Are You: School 2015' and has since gained recognition for his roles in popular dramas such as 'SKY Castle,' 'Hot Stove League,' and 'The Uncanny Counter.'
The actor is set to appear in the upcoming film 'Hidden Money Hunt,' directed by Kim Sol Mae. The comedy-action movie follows a group of Gen Z friends as they get caught up in the schemes of villains pursuing a 15 billion KRW (about $11.25 million) criminal fortune. Along the way, the friends defend the value of their friendship and deliver a satisfying twist.
