Taeyong of NCT has shared a glimpse of his life during military service, bringing joy to fans.
On August 16th KST, Taeyong posted several photos on Instagram along with a short caption: “I’m doing well.” Despite being in the military, he appeared healthy and cheerful.
In the photos, Taeyong is seen enjoying patbingsu (shaved ice dessert) on a summer night. Peeking through his sunglasses, he gazes into the camera, exuding a vibe that’s both cool and endearing. Even with his short military haircut, his idol-like visuals stood out.
Taeyong hasn’t let go of his passion for music. He revealed a photo of himself working on new music, hinting at a swift return to his singing career after completing his service.
Fans responded warmly, leaving comments such as “I missed you,” “So glad to see you’re doing well, Taeyong,” “He always updates us just when we start to wonder—Taeyong really knows his fans,” and “Looking forward to your new music.”
Taeyong enlisted in April last year as a Cultural Promotion Soldier in the Republic of Korea Navy Military Band Honor Guard Unit. He is currently serving as a sergeant and is expected to be discharged in December.
