‘KPop Demon Hunters’ “Golden” makes history as it rises to #1 on Billboard’s ‘Hot 100’ chart

The viral soundtrack from Netflix’s ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ “Golden” by HUNTR/X (EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami) has reached a new peak on Billboard’s ‘Hot 100’ chart.

This marks the first K-pop song to reach No. 1 on the chart, following works of BTS, Jimin, and Jungkook. HUNTR/X also became the first fictional act to score the top spot since Encanto.

“Golden” also continues its chart dominance, placing at No. 1 on Billboard Streaming Songs and Billboard Global 200 charts.

Meanwhile, ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ has become the most popular Netflix animated film of all time since its release in June.
