Veteran Korean singer Kim Gun Mo is set to make a long-awaited return to the stage, marking his first official concert series in six years. His management announced on August 26 that the singer will launch a nationwide live tour titled 'KIM GUN MO.', beginning on September 27 KST at Busan KBS Hall.
The tour will continue with performances at EXCO in Daegu on October 18 and DCC (Daejeon Convention Center) on December 20. Additional dates, including a Seoul stop scheduled for January 2026, will be revealed soon as Kim plans to visit major cities across Korea.
A representative commented, “Though Kim Gun Mo has been away from the stage for a long time, his connection to music has remained unbroken.” The announcement has sparked significant interest from longtime fans anticipating his return.
Kim’s comeback follows a controversial hiatus. In December 2019, he was accused of sexual assault by a civilian woman at a bar in Seoul’s Gangnam district. Kim denied the allegations and filed a counter-lawsuit for false accusation and defamation, stating he had never even met the woman.
After nearly two years of legal proceedings, Kim Gun Mo was cleared of all charges. The court ultimately decided not to indict, citing a decision reached by the Citizen Prosecution Committee. The ruling emphasized insufficient evidence to proceed with prosecution.
Ticket sales for the tour will open on August 29 at 2 PM (KST) via YES24 Ticket.
