Yoon Ji Yoon, a member of girl group IZNA, has officially decided to leave the group due to health concerns.
On August 19th KST, her agency WAKEONE announced, “After long and careful consideration, Yoon Ji Yoon has decided to conclude her group activities due to health-related reasons.”
They added, “Since the beginning of this year, Yoon Ji Yoon has focused on rest and recovery. During that time, she and the company had in-depth discussions about the direction of her future activities. As a result, we have decided to prioritize her health and bring her team activities to an end.”
IZNA will continue promotions as a six-member group moving forward. The agency stated, “We sincerely apologize for delivering such sudden news and causing concern to fans. We will do our utmost to repay your support with even better performances.” They continued, “We kindly ask for your continued warm support and love for IZNA as they grow and move forward.”
IZNA was formed through Mnet’s idol survival program ‘I-LAND2’ and officially debuted in November last year. Yoon Ji Yoon had previously halted her activities in February due to health issues and poor condition.
