IVE's Jang Won Young recently revealed she had only slept 50 minutes before filming the latest episode of 'Jeongwaja.'
On August 28, Jang Won Young appeared as a special guest on the 97th episode of ootb STUDIO's 'Jeongwaja' and enlisted for military training. On this day, Jang Won Young joined Kai for ROTC training at Seokyeong University and experienced various physical training.
In the beginning, Won Young maintained her positive "Lucky Vicky" spirit, but gradually looked fatigued as the training continued. In the end, she even reflected regret about volunteering for the program.
Then, on August 29, the idol revealed to fans through a fan communication app that she had actually slept less than an hour the day before. She explained, "Did you all watch 'Military Wonyoung"? I seriously thought it would be a shooting practice and not guerrilla training." She continued, "But actually, the day before that, I had a music video shoot. lol. So I only slept 50 minutes after filming the MV and then went to the military training that day..."
Jang Won Young also revealed that there was even a heatwave warning that day. But as expected of Won Young, she maintained her positive attitude and shared with fans, "When I got there, there was a heatwave warning that day. The weather was just way too nice." She confessed that she didn't expect the training to be that rigorous and explained, "I thought it would be something like a KidZania level (a fun experience for kids) training." But as soon as we arrived, we had to run through a mountain trail I'd never walked before."
Jang Won Young added, "Still, I was curious, and it turned out to be such a fun memory. Now I understand what the military is like. It's something really amazing. It's no joke."
What further shocked fans is that Won Young had no break after the military training and headed straight to Germany. She explained, "And that night, I even flew out to Germany. After wrapping up the filming, I went to perform at Lollapalooza. That was your Won Young~~"
