IDID, the group formed through Starship Entertainment’s large-scale project ‘Debut’s Plan’, is winning over fans with their original content series ‘Fly High IDID’, proving both their passion as rookies and their heartfelt affection for fans.
In episode 4, released on August 11th, the members spent a refreshing day at a wave pool under the theme “IDID’s Summer Vacation.” The waterpark outing held special meaning as it was a place member Jung Se Min had wanted to visit. Baek Jun Hyeok and Jung Se Min acted out a skit where they “forgot their summer homework,” showing off their acting chops and delivering laughs.
During their visit to the countryside home of their “youngest neighborhood friends,” the members created a daily schedule to make the most of their time. They cooked a special meal together featuring spicy braised chicken and cold young radish noodles. Park Won Bin earned praise for his impressive cooking skills, while the group created a cozy memory by writing a group poem that captured the spirit of summer and youth.
Episode 5, which followed, also drew an enthusiastic response from fans. Titled “From the Fandom’s POV,” it showed Kim Min Jae and Jung Se Min discussing fan vlogs and expressing admiration for senior artists by purchasing their albums and filling photo card holders—demonstrating their sincere support as juniors in the industry. Chu Yu Chan, Park Sung Hyun, and Baek Jun Hyeok sang medleys at a coin karaoke room, and later, the entire group gathered at a restaurant to make unique sauces and enjoy a meal together.
Meanwhile, Jang Yong Hoon and Park Won Bin baked madeleines as a gift ahead of watching a musical starring WJSN’s Yoo Yeonjung, who had previously given them warm advice on ‘Debut’s Plan.’ Chu Yu Chan also prepared a bouquet to express his fan spirit. All members attended a MONSTA X concert—fellow Starship seniors and mentors from ‘Debut’s Plan’—and came dressed in member-themed colors with official lightsticks, sharing their excitement and gratitude.
In the final segment, the members gathered to discuss what kind of event they could prepare for their fans. Sharing ideas like food, handmade items, and heartfelt letters, they once again showed their desire to create meaningful experiences for their supporters, highlighting a warm “fan love moment.”
‘Fly High IDID’ is released every Monday at 7 PM KST on the official IDID channel leading up to their official debut. Having gained attention with their pre-debut track "STEP IT UP", IDID will make their formal debut on September 15th at the YES24 Live Hall in Seoul’s Gwangjin District with the release of their first mini-album ‘I did it.’ The group aims to establish themselves as the next leading act of the fifth-generation boy group wave.
