BABYMONSTER will soon have their very own reality show.
On August 18, YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun Suk announced that the girl group will be launching their first reality series, titled 'BAEMON HOUSE.' The name and concept are inspired by BLACKPINK's reality show from years ago, 'BLACKPINK HOUSE.'
Yang Hyun Suk shared, "It's been a long time since I last heard the name 'BLACKPINK HOUSE.' Fortunately, fans really loved 'BLACKPINK HOUSE.' As for BABYMONSTER, they haven't had a reality show yet. This time, following 'BLACKPINK HOUSE,' we've prepared something called 'BAEMON HOUSE.'"
He continued, "We secured a big house, and we've already finished filming the members living together there. 'BAEMON HOUSE' will be BABYMONSTER's first reality program under YG. To make sure fans don't get bored while waiting for the album, 'BAEMON HOUSE' will begin airing in September."
Meanwhile, Yang Hyun Suk also provided a brief update on BLACKPINK's new mini album, revealing that the producers and team are working hard on the project in the middle of their tour. While nothing is confirmed yet, he expressed his hope that the album will be released no later than November.
In other news, BABYMONSTER's upcoming 2nd mini album release date has been moved from October 1 to October 10 to avoid the busy Chuseok period in Korea.
According to YG, BABYMONSTER's 'BAEMON HOUSE' reality show will premiere in September ahead of their new mini album. Are you excited to see this new chapter for the girl group?
