HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk and BJ Se Yeon ’s viral LA sighting has been recreated by high school students.
On July 21 KST, the student council of Uijeongbu High School posted this year’s graduation photos on their official social media account. Known for its long-running tradition of parodying trending figures in graduation portraits, the school once again gained attention online.
Among the various parodies, the recreation of Chairman Bang Si Hyuk’s viral photo stood out. Two students were seen reenacting the famous crosswalk scene where Bang and BJ Se Yeon were spotted walking side by side in Los Angeles.
These students posed humorously alongside others who parodied figures such as Kwon Eun Bi, BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars, pro-gamer Faker, the SAjA Boys from Netflix’s 'K-pop Demon Hunters' and even the Samyang spicy noodles mascot.
The original moment they were parodying went viral in August 2023, when Bang Si Hyuk and Se Yeon were unexpectedly caught on camera walking together in Beverly Hills, California in a YouTube video.
