TXT (Tomorrow X Together) is proving what it means to be a top-tier K-pop group.
Now in their sixth year since debut and reportedly in talks to renew their contract with BigHit Music, TXT is not just maintaining momentum—they’re eyeing new career highs.
The sales performance of their recent studio album is a clear testament to that. After setting a massive first-week sales record in Korea, they’ve now broken their personal best in Japan.

According to Oricon on July 29, TXT’s 4th full-length album "The Star Chapter: TOGETHER" sold 304,000 copies in its first week in Japan, topping the latest weekly album chart. This marks the group’s highest-ever weekly album sales in Japan, surpassing their previous best of 303,000 copies with their second Japanese studio album "SWEET".
TXT has also set a new record in Japan as the first foreign artist to top Oricon’s Weekly Album Ranking with 12 consecutive albums. They first reached No. 1 on the chart with "The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY" in 2020 and have since topped it with every release in the region—a rare feat showcasing their consistent popularity.
Since "minisode 2: Thursday’s Child" in 2022, they’ve held the record for the most consecutive No. 1 albums among foreign artists, continuing to renew and surpass their own record.
Their 4th full album is the final chapter of The Star Chapter series, following "SANCTUARY".
Having debuted in 2019, TXT is now approaching contract renewal with their agency, BigHit Music. During a recent media showcase celebrating their new album release, the members confidently expressed a “positive outlook” on the matter—further heightening anticipation for what’s next.
