On July 20, IVE delivered a landmark performance at Lollapalooza Paris 2025, held at the ParisLongChamp in Paris. The group took the Main East stage, marking another milestone after their previous appearance at Lollapalooza Chicago last year.
The girl group opened their set with "Rebel Heart." However, during the following performance of "I AM," a sudden technical issue disrupted the sound system. Despite the setback, the members remained calm and completed the stage with professionalism. Luckily, IVE was able to restart their set and re-perform both "Rebel Heart" and "I AM."

During this moment, leader An Yu Jin took the microphone to apologize and address the audience about restarting the performance. Cameras captured her hands visibly shaking while speaking up in English. The clip went viral on various online communities in Korea.
Korean netizens particularly praised Yu Jin's leadership and composure in such a high-pressure situation. They commented:
"She must've been so flustered. She's acting in pure instinct. A sudden sound accident like this must have made everything go blank."
"Watching this really shows how big the role of a leader is. The members kept looking at her, the staff were giving her updates... it must be so tough to manage a stage like that."
"You can feel the weight of being a leader."
"Our Yu Jin is truly an amazing person."
"If something like this happens on such a huge stage, not just a college festival or small event, it must cause a real mental breakdown."
"Yu Jin really goes through a lot."
"All the members' eyes were shaking. They must have been so nervous. In the audience, the sound wasn't coming through at all. Why don't they fix these audio issues beforehand?"
"Yu Jin once said she was so upset when her hairpiece fell off at her first Lollapalooza, so she must've been even more upset and nervous this time... She handled it so well."
"That's a true leader."
"She's so amazing in so many ways."
