On July 27, Girl’s Day member and actress Lee Hyeri graced the Philippine stage for the first time as a solo act, as part of her ‘Welcome to Hyeri’s Studio’ fan meeting in Manila.
The fan meeting, brimming with love and laughter, featured segments like “Adventure Land” and “Cinema Village,” where Hyeri reminisced about her past drama characters.
Recalling a scene from ‘Reply 1988’ where her character, Sung Deok Sun, was injured, Hyeri shared, “It’s been about 10 years. It was my first time playing an injured person, so I needed to know how to do it. While I was wondering, I just acted.”
The segment also featured scenes from ‘Victory’ and Hyeri’s recent series, ‘Friendly Rivalry.’
When asked what her character, Yu Je-i, would write in a secret diary, Hyeri replied that for herself, she’d put “Season 2.” For Je-i, however, she revealed, “I feel like Je-i would write down how she's planning to meet Seulgi (Chung Su Bin's character).”
During the fan meeting, Hyeri performed aespa’s “Whiplash” as her opening song and later danced to her group Girl’s Day’s “Something.”
Nearing the end of the event, Hyeri conveyed a message to her fans, stating she felt like the happiest person in the world “because I received so much love from you.”
She added, “I feel like I’m the one who received the most love in this world. I think it’s better than being ‘the prettiest person in the world’.”
“Sometimes I think, ‘Am I worthy to receive this kind of love?’ Whenever I say such, you guys always tell me, ‘You deserve it’.”
“I can really feel your love and heart. So, I’m always worried, ‘Am I able to return this kind of love to you guys?’ So I really wanted to say I love you guys. Most of the time, I’m unable to explain myself. I hope you feel how I feel towards you through my gestures, expressions, and movements.”
Hyeri’s ‘Welcome to Hyeri’s Studio’ fan meeting in Manila was presented by Three Angles Production.
