Taeyang of SF9 is set to take the mound at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on August 2, bringing his star power to the '2025 KBO League matchup' between the Doosan Bears and the SSG Landers.
He will appear as a special guest to throw the ceremonial first pitch, showing his support for the Doosan Bears. This appearance follows a previously scheduled pitch at a Doosan Bears vs. Kiwoom Heroes game last month, which was unfortunately canceled due to rain.
Expressing his excitement, Taeyang shared, “I was really disappointed when the previous game got canceled because of the rain. I’m very grateful to be given another opportunity.” He also revealed his admiration for the team. “I’m thrilled to see my favorite player, Yang Eui Ji, in person. I’ll be sending all my positive energy for a Doosan Bears victory,” he added.
Known as both the lead vocalist and main dancer of SF9, Taeyang has actively pursued a multifaceted career across music, musicals, and more, showcasing his versatility as a true all-around entertainer.
SF9 recently wrapped up their successful domestic concert '2025 SF9 LIVE FANTASY #5 LOVE DAWN' and completed their 'SF9 2025 ZEPP TOUR IN JAPAN LOVE RACE,' solidifying their global popularity.
