Netflix has announced its upcoming romantic comedy series 'Take Charge of My Heart,' starring Kim Young Kwang and Chae Soo Bin. The show tells a quirky and heart-racing story about a man with a failing artificial heart and a woman with electrical powers, setting the stage for a truly charged romance.
The series is directed by Park Soo Won, known for his witty and stylish storytelling in 'Work Later, Drink Now 2' and 'Birthcare Center.' It is based on a popular Naver web novel of the same name. Rising screenwriter Song Yoo Chae adapts the original story into a thrilling and heart-fluttering script.

Kim Young Kwang plays Baek Ho Rang, a third-generation chaebol who runs a luxury resort under Korea’s top conglomerate. He is a smart and capable businessman and a top contender in the group’s succession race. However, he has a secret: an artificial heart that is running dangerously low on power.
In the midst of a fierce power struggle, he meets Na Bo Bae, a woman who miraculously may be able to recharge his heart. He proposes a bold and unexpected contract that is not part of his original plan. Known for his versatility across various genres, Kim continues his Netflix presence following his role in 'Trigger.' His past work in romantic films and dramas such as 'On Your Wedding Day' and 'Call It Love' has already captured audiences’ hearts, adding to the excitement for his return in a romantic comedy.

Chae Soo Bin plays Na Bo Bae, a drama writer with the power of electricity. As her contract nears its end, she must complete a romance script. However, after being struck by lightning as a child, her body has carried an electrical charge, preventing her from holding hands with anyone she likes.
That changes when she meets Ho Rang, the only person she can touch without shocking. For Bo Bae, this encounter offers a chance to finally experience the romance she has only imagined. Chae brings energy and charm to the role, following performances in Netflix’s 'The Fabulous,' 'Sweet & Sour,' and upcoming titles like 'Hijack 1971' and 'Omniscient Reader: The Prophet.'
'Take Charge of My Heart' will be available exclusively on Netflix.
