aespa’s Karina has captured attention for gifting a set of high-end glasses to musician and host Jung Jae Hyung.
In a recent episode of the YouTube show 'Fairy Jaehyung', Karina appeared as a guest and surprised Jung Jae Hyung with a red shopping bag. “I heard you wanted to create a mini bar, so I brought you a gift,” she explained.
Jung Jae Hyung, touched by the gesture, said, “You’re the youngest guest on the show—born in 2000—and you brought something like this?” Upon opening the present, he admired the glasses, saying, “They’re beautiful. I really needed low-stemmed glasses like this.”
The gift is believed to be a pair of Baccarat Rohan champagne flutes, a luxury French tableware brand. Each glass is estimated to cost around 500,000 KRW (approx. 385 USD). Known for their elegant S-shaped spiral engravings, the flutes are crafted with intricate etching techniques that extend from the bowl to the stem and base.
The glasses are currently sold out.
