Eight tracks from the Netflix animated series 'K-pop Demon Hunters' have pulled off a rare chart sweep, entering the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. Among them, the song "Golden" has soared into the Top 10, solidifying its status as a true global hit.

The Billboard Hot 100, which ranks songs based on streaming, airplay, and sales in the U.S., is one of the two main Billboard charts alongside the Billboard 200, which tracks albums. According to the chart released on July 15 (local time), eight songs from the 'K-pop Demon Hunters' original soundtrack have made it onto the Hot 100.

The fictional girl group Huntrix’s track "Golden" debuted at No. 6, while "How It’s Done" also by Huntrix entered at No. 29. Boy group Saja Boys placed two songs on the chart: "Your Idol" at No. 31 and "SodaPop" at No. 35. Huntrix member LUMI’s solo track "Free" came in at No. 41, followed by "What It Sounds Like" at No. 43 and "Take Down" at No. 51. In addition, the TWICE version of "Take Down" debuted at No. 86 — bringing the total to an unprecedented eight songs from one soundtrack charting on the Hot 100 at the same time.

"Golden," now seen as Huntrix’s signature song, is drawing comparisons to BLACKPINK Rosé’s solo hit "Apartment" and is expected to set a new standard for female-led K-pop vocal tracks.

Rosé’s "Apartment," which exploded at the end of last year and continues to chart strong, peaked at No. 3 on the Hot 100 and has remained on the chart for 38 consecutive weeks — setting historic records for a female K-pop artist.
