Coupang Play has announced that its upcoming original series 'The Confidence Man KR' will premiere on September 6 at 9:10 PM KST.
A teaser for 'The Confidence Man KR' released on July 16, raising anticipation for what's to come. 'The Confidence Man KR' follows three con artists, each with their own unique backstory, who team up to take revenge on corrupt and powerful villains of modern society.
Park Hee Soon stars as James, a veteran swindler with wit and charisma, showcasing his versatility in the role. Park Min Young plays Yoon I Rang, the team’s brilliant leader with an IQ of 165, placing her in the top 1% of intellectual minds. Joo Jong Hyuk takes on the role of Myung Gu Ho, the youngest member of the crew known for his pure-hearted and upright nature.
The series is directed by Nam Ki Hoon, known for helming 'Kiss Sixth Sense' (Disney+), 'Oh My Baby' (tvN), and 'Voice Season 3: City of Accomplices' (OCN), raising anticipation for another stylish and gripping drama.
'The Confidence Man KR' will be available to stream exclusively on Coupang Play in Korea and will simultaneously launch on Prime Video in 198 countries and regions worldwide (excluding Korea) on the same day.
