Rising boy group ASC2NT is gearing up for their highly anticipated return with 'Conversion Part.2 : Bloomed,' their third single album set to drop on July 24, 2025. However, amid the flurry of concept photos and teaser content, one major development went largely unacknowledged in official channels: the quiet but significant addition of new member Hyowon.
Hyowon, formerly known by his stage name JuKang, is a former member of JWiiver and now the youngest member (maknae) of ASC2NT. His inclusion marks a new chapter for the group, following the official departure of original member Injun on June 24 due to ongoing health issues.
Despite the magnitude of the lineup change, Hyowon's addition was not formally introduced by the group's agency, NEWWAYS COMPANY. Instead, his presence was first revealed on July 11 through concept photos for the upcoming single, where he appeared seamlessly among the members.
Hyowon's transition into ASC2NT comes at a pivotal moment, as 'Conversion Part.2 : Bloomed' continues the group's ongoing storyline, picking up from their previous release, Conversion Part.1. The group previously gained recognition for their strong vocal performances and dynamic stage presence, particularly with their title track "Sweet Devil," and expectations are high for this new era.
As the group enters this comeback with a refreshed lineup, fans are looking forward to seeing how Hyowon contributes to ASC2NT’s evolving identity and sound. While the introduction may have been subtle, his impact is already generating buzz.
