Vocal group Brown Eyed Soul — known as the "ultimate soul kings" and composed of members JungYup, Naul, and Ko Yeoung Jun — is officially returning with a new album after a six-year hiatus.
On July 23, their agency Long Play Music announced, “Brown Eyed Soul is planning to reconnect with fans through a new album, set to be released by September at the latest.”
They added, “Most of the recording is already complete. Alongside the album release, the group is also preparing for a concert — their first in six years", heightening anticipation for their return.
Back in 2019, Brown Eyed Soul released the first half of their fifth studio album "It’ Soul Right", showcasing a diverse range of Black music genres including 1960s Motown, 1970s Blaxploitation, funky blue-eyed soul, and contemporary R&B.
Renowned for their "luxury-level live performances," the group has consistently delivered standout concerts filled with harmonious vocals and nostalgic hits that resonate deeply with fans.
With their long-awaited comeback on the horizon, all eyes are on what kind of music and stage presence Brown Eyed Soul will unveil this time around.
