Actress Seo Hyo Rim shared the devastating aftermath of the heavy rainfall, prompting concerns from fans and the public.
On July 20, Seo Hyo Rim posted photos on her social media showing washed-out roads, damaged vehicles, and fallen trees. Along with the photos, she wrote, "I just got my phone signal, but the roads have collapsed and we're stranded." The photos vividly capture scenes from the village where a landslide destroyed access roads, cutting it off from the roadway to the city.
She continued, "The power is out, and there's no running water. Many people are worried about us. Fortunately, there were no casualties in our village, but other villages suffered severe damage." Calmly recalling the disaster, she added, "I never knew landslides could be this terrifying. I sincerely hope there won't be any more damage."

Meanwhile, actress Seo Hyo Rim has been living a rural life in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, with her family. In 2019, she married Jung Myung Ho, the son of the late actress Kim Soo Mi and CEO of Napalkkot Group.
Seo Hyo Rim and her family are reported to be staying in the affected region, which is part of the North Gyeonggi Province that was hit by multiple landslides and river overflows due to concentrated heavy rainfall. According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the region could receive over 80mm of additional rain through July 20, raising concerns over further damage.
