'Boys II Planet' contestant Kim Geun Woo has released an apology letter in response to the latest bullying allegation. Kim Geun Woo has been gaining attention as one of the center contestants in the upcoming Mnet idol survival show.
On July 21, Kim Geun Woo posted a handwritten apology letter through WAKEONE's official Instagram account. He began by saying, "Hello, this is trainee Kim Geun Woo, currently participating in 'Boys II Planet.' First, I would like to sincerely apologize for writing this letter due to an unfortunate matter."
Kim Geun Woo is currently accused of verbally abusing fellow trainees two years ago when he was under a different entertainment company. The victim claimed they are currently receiving psychiatric treatment due to the trauma from Kim Geun Woo.
Kim Geun Woo continued, "I want to sincerely apologize and say that I am truly sorry for the words and actions that hurt and caused pain to many people, regardless of the reasons." The trainee explained, "At the time, I was going through a difficult period as a leader who had to guide the team. Because of the pressure and sense of responsibility to do well, I was immature and unskilled in the way I led my fellow trainees." He added, "In the process, I ended up hurting several people, and I deeply apologize. I am reflecting on those actions."
He also pointed out that there were several parts of the accusation that are not true and have been distorted. However, he shared, "However, after much consideration, I decided that rather than clarifying what is true and what is not, it is more important and appropriate for me to sincerely apologize for the things I did wrong. That is why I am writing this letter of reflection."
Kim Geun Woo once again apologized to the public for causing such a disruption and shared, "To the public who had to come across this unpleasant news and the related posts because of me, I once again sincerely apologize. I will take this incident as a lesson and work hard to become a better and more mature person. Thank you."

I honestly don't know where or how to begin.
Since this is my first time experiencing something like this, I needed time to think about how to respond, and I ask for your understanding for the delay in sharing my statement.
First of all, I want to sincerely apologize and say that I am truly sorry for the words and actions that hurt and caused pain to many people, regardless of the reasons, as stated in the post that caused the controversy.
At the time, I was going through a difficult period as a leader who had to guide the team. Because of the pressure and sense of responsibility to do well, I was immature and unskilled in the way I led my fellow trainees. In the process, I ended up hurting several people, and I deeply apologize. I am reflecting on those actions.
Among the contents of the posts, several parts are not true and have been distorted. However, after much consideration, I decided that rather than clarifying what is true and what is not, it is more important and appropriate for me to sincerely apologize for the things I did wrong. That is why I am writing this letter of reflection.
To the public that came across this unpleasant news and the related posts because of me, I once again sincerely apologize.
I will take this incident as a lesson and work hard to become a better and more mature person.
