On June 1, a new video titled "Are You Watching, Jung Sun Ah? Let’s Do Well Uma Sisters’ Business Challenge Vlog" was uploaded to the YouTube channel Umaizing Uhm Jung HwaTV. In the video, singer and actress Uhm Jung Hwa revealed her younger sister to the public for the first time while sharing the story behind their new family business venture.
Uhm Jung Hwa explained that Umaizing Supermarket was originally created by her younger sister and older sister. She said it was too small to be called a brand, but they began by making sauces and soups under the name. Eventually, they needed more help, which led her to join the project. The three sisters are now working together to operate Umaizing Supermarket. She mentioned that this is a very small beginning but shared that she had come up with the name Supermarket a long time ago, planning to use it if she ever started something. She said it feels almost like destiny that they are now building it together.
She added that she had always been too busy with filming and other schedules. It was not fear exactly, but rather uncertainty about how or where to start. Now that she has joined, she is finally creating the kind of supermarket she had always dreamed about. She said it is going to be fun and meaningful. Although it is very small, it is now becoming Umaizing Supermarket. Their first product is coffee tea bags.
In the video, Uhm Jung Hwa is seen going to a factory to check product samples. After the meeting, she visited a restaurant known for Pyongyang cold noodles. Her younger sister accompanied her and caught the attention of viewers.
Introducing her sister, she said, "This is my sister. She is the representative of Umaizing Supermarket." When asked whether they got along well as children, she nodded. When asked if they fought, she admitted that they did. She described her sister as very sensitive and difficult. As the middle child, she said she often felt overlooked, while her younger sister would cry easily and get more attention. Their oldest sister was also very typical of a firstborn.
Her sister agreed and added that even when they fought, if their mother scolded them, she would quickly apologize. Their oldest sister would stay quiet and insist she did nothing wrong, which usually led to her being the only one punished. Uhm Jung Hwa then jokingly called her sister a fox.
When the production team asked whether her sister had bought her clothes when she was younger, her sister said that in her twenties, her older sister took care of everything. She said that thanks to her sister, she was able to travel abroad and had many experiences. They spent most of their time together and even lived together.
Uhm Jung Hwa recalled that her sister once accompanied her on her work schedules and even contributed creative ideas. She emphasized that family is about supporting one another. She said this business is not only for herself but also for her younger and older sisters. They are doing it together with love and trust. She finished by saying they are a small but strong team of three.
