Dino, a member of Seventeen, has reportedly purchased a high-end apartment in Seoul’s upscale Seongsu-dong neighborhood for 9 billion KRW (approximately $6.5 million), setting a new price record for the unit type.
According to a report by Korea Economic TV on June 25, Dino acquired a 195-square-meter unit in the prestigious Galleria Foret complex in April and completed the transfer of ownership earlier this month.
The 9 billion KRW (approximately $6.5 million) purchase marks the highest-ever recorded price for a unit of that size in the building.
Official records indicate that a bank mortgage of 6.16 billion KRW (approximately $4.45 million)was registered for the property. Given that the maximum loan guarantee amount typically ranges from 110% to 120% of the actual loan, Dino is estimated to have taken out a loan of around 5.6 billion KRW (approximately $4.10 million).
Galleria Foret is known for its celebrity residents, including actors Han Ye Seul and Kim Soo Hyun. In February, TV personality Jang Young Ran and her husband also made headlines for purchasing a 218-square-meter unit in the same building for 9.45 billion KRW (approximately $6.98 million) under joint ownership.
Dino's high-profile purchase highlights not only his personal success but also the continued demand for luxury real estate among Korea’s top celebrities.
