Actor Lee Dong Gun, who has recently made a name for himself as a café owner in Jeju Island, is set to bring his popular café Oasis 80 to Seoul’s trendy Seongsu neighborhood through a special pop-up event.

On June 3, a café in Seongsu announced that it will host the Oasis 80 pop-up, offering Seoul residents a chance to experience the beloved Jeju-based café without traveling far. “For those who haven’t been able to visit Jeju, this is your chance to meet us in Seongsu,” said the event organizers. “We’ll be serving our signature sand coffee, waffles, and kaymak that have gained popularity in Jeju. As part of the opening celebration, owner Lee Dong Gun himself will hand-drip sand coffee for visitors. See you soon in Seongsu!”
The event will also feature special appearances by other culinary talents, including dim sum specialist Jung Ji Sun, dubbed the “Queen of Dim Sum,” along with several other guest chefs.
The pop-up event kicks off on June 5, with no confirmed end date as of now. Lee Dong Gun’s live coffee brewing session will be held on the first day only, from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Meanwhile, Lee recently made headlines for his rumored relationship with actress Kang Hye Rim, who is 16 years his junior. The two were spotted on several dates, sparking dating rumors. His agency acknowledged the matter as a “personal issue,” effectively confirming the relationship.
Lee Dong Gun was previously married to actress Jo Yoon Hee in 2017, with whom he shares a daughter. The couple finalized their divorce in 2020, and Jo is currently raising their child.
