Junsu (XIA) has officially become a member of the Honors Club, a prestigious group of high-value donors.

The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil Ho) recently announced, “Junsu has been inducted into the Hope Bridge Honors Club, a community of major donors.”

The Honors Club is a network of individual donors who have contributed over 100 million KRW (approx. 74,000 USD) to Hope Bridge. It brings together philanthropic leaders who take initiative in responding to national disasters. Junsu became a full member after donating 100 million KRW this past March to aid victims of large-scale wildfires in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan.

Junsu expressed his thoughts on joining the club, and said, “I’m sincerely happy to be part of such a meaningful group like the Honors Club. I was moved by the idea that even a single act of giving can be a great source of strength to someone. I hope to be remembered as someone who continues to share warmth with others.”

Junsu’s positive influence has extended to his fans. His fan club “Coconut” was inspired by his donation and collectively raised and donated 12.15 million KRW (~8,970 USD) to Hope Bridge. Fans shared, “We wanted to continue Junsu’s spirit of giving together.”

Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon stated, “Junsu’s donation brought great comfort and hope to neighbors struggling with disaster. We warmly welcome him as a member of the Honors Club and look forward to working together in supporting those in need.”

Junsu first debuted in 2003 as the main vocalist of TVXQ, gaining attention for his powerful vocals and commanding stage presence. The group rose to fame with hits like “Hug,” “Rising Sun,” “Mirotic,” and “Love in the Ice,” becoming a defining K-pop act of the second generation. Junsu played a key role in shaping the group’s musical identity with his stable high notes, sweet tone, and distinctive performance style.

In 2009, Junsu, along with Jaejoong and Park Yoo Chun, filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment over unfair contract terms and went on to form JYJ, continuing activities under C-JeS Entertainment.

In 2010, he made his musical debut in 'Mozart!,' followed by leading roles in 'Elisabeth,' 'Dracula,' and 'Death Note,' showcasing both his acting skills and box-office draw.

Under his stage name XIA, he also released successful solo albums including Tarantallegra,” “Incredible,” and “Flower,” further establishing his identity as an artist.
