On June 13, actress Go So Young gave fans a rare look into her treasured vintage luxury collection, which she has been curating for over 30 years. The video, titled “Classics Are Forever: Go So Young’s 30-Year-Old Vintage Treasures,” was uploaded to her YouTube channel That's Go So Young.
“These are items that are at least 20 to 25 years old. They carry my personal touch,” Go So Young said in the video. “Some were handed down from my mother, but most of them I purchased myself. I’ve kept them since those early days.”
She also reflected on her fashion sense and longevity in the industry. “I’ve lived quite a while. Trends come back every 10 years, and brands had very distinct colors and styles back then. Even at that time, some of these items were considered rare, so I made sure to get them.”
Speaking lightheartedly, she added, “I want to take good care of these pieces and eventually give them to my daughter. Or maybe to my future daughter-in-law. When she does something sweet, I’ll gift her one item at a time. But only if I really like her,” she said with a laugh.
The actress also tried on a belt she wore in the film Beat, reminiscing about her past. “These aged items remind me of my radiant twenties,” she said, filled with nostalgia.
Go So Young married fellow actor Jang Dong Gun in 2010. The couple has two children, a son born in 2010 and a daughter born in 2014.
