South Korean rapper and singer-songwriter, Yoon Mi Rae, marks a significant milestone on the global music platform Spotify with her track "ALWAYS".
As of May 6, 2025, KST, "ALWAYS" has surpassed 100 million streams, marking her second track to achieve this impressive feat on the platform after "NEURON."
Originally released on February 18, 2016, the song served as one of the OSTs for the smash-hit drama 'Descendants of the Sun.' This achievement took 9 years and 3 months after its release. Widely known as a "Queen of K-Hiphop" who is often recognized by her powerful stage presence and fierce rap, Yoon Mi Rae also proved that she can create emotional ballad-type songs that can touch everyone's hearts.
Meanwhile, "Descendants of the Sun" aired on the KBS2 channel in 2016 and starred Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo, Jin Goo, and Kim Ji Won.
