Soobin of TOMORROW X TOGETHER has shared a heartfelt musical gift with fans.
On May 13th at 6 PM (KST), Soobin released both a cover video and audio version of ‘The Reason for My Spring’ through TXT’s official YouTube channel. Originally released in 2020, the song is a B-side track from singer-songwriter Paul Kim’s full-length album and is known for its emotional and lyrical melody.
Soobin rearranged the track with a soft piano and acoustic guitar foundation, enhancing its emotional depth. His calm yet resonant voice beautifully expresses the lyrics’ longing to stay beside a loved one for a long time.
The cover video captures Soobin in his natural, everyday moments—reading a book and writing in his journal at the end of the day—with the group’s fandom, MOA, always present in his heart. Despite being busy preparing for TXT’s world tour and promoting the digital single ‘Love Language’, Soobin took the time to record a meaningful gift for his fans.
Through BigHit Music, Soobin shared, “For a long time, I wanted to sing this song in my voice once spring arrived.” He added, “The message in the lyrics reflects how I feel, and I hope you’ll listen with that in mind.” He continued, “As long as MOA is with me, the blooming inside me will be endless. I’m always grateful. I hope this is a special gift for you, even if it’s a bit late.”
TXT is currently in the midst of their world tour. After kicking off the tour on March 7th at Inspire Arena in Incheon, they recently wrapped up their European leg, performing in cities including Barcelona, London, Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam. The group will next perform in Osaka on May 17–18, and conclude the tour in Tokyo on May 24–25.
