TWICE has released their fifth Japanese best album, continuing their popularity in Japan.
At midnight on May 14th (JST), TWICE officially dropped ’#TWICE5’, their fifth best-of album in Japan. The album includes Japanese versions of their hit tracks such as ‘Talk that Talk’, ‘SET ME FREE’, and ‘ONE SPARK’, all of which received widespread love both domestically and internationally. This album is the fifth in the popular #TWICE series and marks their first best-of album in approximately three years and two months since '#TWICE4' in March 2022.
Since making their official Japanese debut in June 2017, TWICE has topped major music charts, received prestigious awards, and achieved cumulative album sales of over 20 million copies across Korea and Japan. In July 2024, they became the first overseas female artist to perform at Nissan Stadium, as part of their fifth world tour that drew a total of 1.5 million attendees. Additionally, the group’s first sub-unit, MISAMO, made their Japanese debut in July 2023, and is set to perform at the Tokyo Dome in January 2025, making them the fastest female act to perform at the venue.
TWICE is also scheduled to headline Lollapalooza Chicago at Grant Park in Illinois on August 2nd, further cementing their global presence.
