Former FIESTAR member Cao Lu shared a surprising life update.
On the May 13th KST episode of the SBS variety show ‘Dolsing Fourmen’, Sayuri, Cao Lu, and Kim Seo Ah appeared as guests.
Cao Lu revealed, “I’ve been overseas for more than 10 years. My parents are getting older, and I wanted to be a filial daughter, so I went back to China.”
She went on to share that she hit it big in the Chinese live commerce market. She said that last year, sales of the products she promoted reached 1 billion KRW (approx. $700,000 USD). “That was the sales total, not the amount I personally earned,” she clarified, adding, “Still, I make enough to get by and buy anything I want to eat.”
Cao Lu also revealed she had dated a handsome man in China. “When I was active in Korea, he liked Korean cooking shows. He watched things like Baek Jong Won’s Alley Restaurant and Food Truck diligently. He later found out I was back in China through social media.”
She continued, “He reached out and asked to grab coffee. I felt safe meeting him, but when I saw him, he was so handsome. We ended up dating, but broke up in 2022 after a childish argument.”
Born in 1987, Cao Lu is now 37 years old. She debuted in 2012 as a member of FIESTAR.
