On the May 24 episode of MBC’s variety show 'Hangout with Yoo' (Episode 281), Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Yi Kyung visited Tokyo, Japan, to meet actress Shim Eun Kyung. Ahead of her birthday, Lee Yi Kyung brought her a gift he purchased with his own money at a duty-free shop.

However, Shim Eun Kyung was visibly surprised when she received the present. "Wait a minute. What is this? Why are you doing this to me? Can I even accept this?" she asked with a serious look, leaving everyone curious about the contents.

The mystery was quickly solved when it was revealed that the shopping bag included a pack of cigarettes Lee Yi Kyung had bought for himself by mistake. Realizing the mix-up, he quickly retrieved the cigarettes, making everyone laugh.

Thankfully, his real gift turned out to be a hit. He had brought seasoned seaweed and individually packed kimchi, which delighted Shim Eun Kyung. Yoo Jae Suk praised the choice, saying it was a thoughtful and clever gift.
