Actor Rowoon, formerly a member of the K-pop group SF9, will enlist in the military this summer.
On May 27, his agency FNC Entertainment announced, “Rowoon will enter a training camp on July 21 to fulfill his mandatory military service as an active-duty soldier in the Army.”
Before his enlistment, Rowoon will hold a fan meeting titled 'Before Blooming' on May 31 at the Donghae Culture and Arts Center of Kwangwoon University in Seoul, where he plans to connect with fans one last time.
Rowoon debuted in 2016 as a member of SF9, serving as the group’s lead vocalist. After ending his first contract with FNC in 2023, he officially left the group and has since focused solely on acting.
He has appeared in numerous dramas including 'School 2017', 'Where Stars Land', 'Extraordinary You', 'Find Me in Your Memory', 'She Would Never Know', 'The King’s Affection', and 'Destined with You'. He is currently awaiting the release of his new Disney+ original series 'Turbid'.
