Actress Roh Yoon Seo will not be joining the cast of Netflix’s 'All of Us Are Dead Season 2' due to scheduling conflicts.
According to OSEN on May 14, Roh was initially in talks to take on a lead role in the sequel to the global zombie hit, but has ultimately decided not to join the production. Her agency had previously stated in January 2023 that her appearance was not confirmed.
Season 1 of 'All of Us Are Dead', which premiered in January 2022, told the story of high school students trapped in their school as a zombie virus outbreak turns their world upside down. The series became a massive success, ranking just behind 'Squid Game' as one of the most-watched Korean series on Netflix globally.
Although fans were anticipating Roh Yoon Seo’s addition to the new season, the actress has been focusing on other projects. Most recently, she took home the Best New Actress in Film award at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards for her role in 'Soulmate' (Cheongseol).
This marks her second Baeksang win, following her 2023 Best New Actress in TV award for the hit drama 'Crash Course in Romance'.
