On May 22nd, actor Park Seo Joon shared a heartfelt moment on his social media, celebrating the day his close friend, football star Son Heung Min, lifted his long-awaited first club trophy.
In a short clip titled "He finally did it," Park captured the emotional aftermath of the 'UEFA Europa League final.' The video shows Son, with a visible injury on his forehead, spotting Park in the crowd after the trophy ceremony. The two run toward each other, embrace tightly, and jump with joy as they celebrate the historic moment together.

Son proudly wore the South Korean national flag tied around his waist. The celebration highlighted not only his personal achievement but also the strong bond he shares with Park Seo Joon, a friendship that began in 2018.
Their connection first caught public attention when Park Seo Joon, calling himself a "Super Sonny fanboy," shared a photo holding Son’s autographed jersey while standing next to him. Since then, they have frequently shown their friendship, with Park revealing during a press conference for his film 'Dream' that they often play football together when Son returns to Korea.
“Whenever he finishes the season and comes home, we kick the ball around for fun. He lets me play forward, while he avoids shooting himself,” Park said. “But even when he’s right beside me, the next thing I know, he’s already in front of the goal. That’s when I realize what national team-level stamina really means.”
Earlier this year, Park also quietly showed support for Son by liking a post about his reconciliation with fellow player Lee Kang In.
Son Heung Min’s milestone came on May 22 Korean time, when he led Tottenham Hotspur as captain to a 1–0 victory over Manchester United in the 'UEFA Europa League final' held at San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao, Spain. This victory ended Tottenham’s 17-year trophy drought and marked the first club title of Son’s career.
