Onda and Sihyeon clarify that EVERGLOW is not disbanding

On May 13, YUEHUA Entertainmentannounced that their contract with EVERGLOW has come to an end.
The label revealed that the group and the company have decided not to renew the contract and will part ways next year. YUEHUA Entertainment explained, "After careful discussion with EVERGLOW, we have decided to go our separate ways while wishing the best for each other’s futures. As a result, EVERGLOW’s exclusive contracts will end as of June 2025."
Following the announcement, fans were concerned they would no longer see their beloved girl group, and the end of the contract meant a disbandment for EVERGLOW.
However, members Onda and Sihyeon logged onto a live stream to clarify to fans that the group is only parting ways with the agency but will remain together. Onda shared, "We just finished our contract, not like EVERGLOW finished. So yeah." Sihyeon added, "There's no EVERGLOW disbandment. We're going to keep our team. We're going to continue on. We're just leaving YUEHUA."
Fans are expressing surprise and excitement as EVERGLOW will continue as a new group. Many are looking forward to the future activities.
