
Kihyun of MONSTA X made a powerful return to the stage at 'PEAK FESTIVAL 2025', held on May 25 at Nanji Hangang Park in Seoul. Having previously performed at the same festival in 2023 before his military enlistment, Kihyun marked his comeback with a stellar solo set, reaffirming his title as “the god of K-pop.”
He kicked off his 45-minute set with “VOYAGER,” the title track from his first solo album, captivating the audience with his crystal-clear vocals and stage charisma. Kihyun followed up with fan-favorites like “STARDUST” and the self-penned “COMMA.”
The singer also showcased his versatility by covering songs such as “멋진 헛간” (The Great Barn) by Oh Daecheonwang, “Feeling Good” by Day6, and Tom Grennan’s “Little Bit Of Love,” putting his unique twist on each track and elevating the festive mood.
He closed the show with emotional renditions of “RAIN” and “Bad Liar,” before ending with “YOUTH,” the title track from his mini album. His commanding presence and vocal stability earned enthusiastic cheers from fans throughout the performance.
Kihyun expressed his gratitude through Starship Entertainment, saying, “I was so happy to sing outdoors and enjoy the moment with Monbebe again. I’ll work harder to share these experiences more often. Thank you to everyone who joined us today.”
