During the latest episode of JTBC variety show 'Knowing Bros,' i-dle (formerly (G)I-DLE) were featured as the special guests. The girl group appeared in the midst of promotions for their recent comeback with title track 'Good Thing.' While sharing stories, dancing, and playing games with their hosts, i-dle's Soyeon also revealed a crucial piece of information about her activities lately.
Ever since the reveal of P Nation's first ever girl group - tentatively named 'P Girls' - it has been rumored that Soyeon would be the producer for the group, working alongside PSY. Even with no official confirmation for months, excitement grew surrounding the upcoming four-member girl group.
Now, Soyeon has confirmed the news. While on 'Knowing Bros,' Soyeon took the opportunity to discuss P Nation's new girl group, and her work as producer. She confirmed that she is the main producer for 'P Girls', and even produced their debut song. Soyeon explained that while renewing her contract with Cube Entertainment, she made it clear that she wanted to do a lot more music production work in the future. She stated that it was her goal to work with many different artists.
Meanwhile, while Soyeon is known for her work as composer and producer for many i-dle songs, she also participated in the production of girl group QWER's recent release 'My Name is Malguem.'
No official debut date has been given for 'P Girls' yet, but they are expected to debut sometime in 2025. You can watch their reveal video here:
