Girls’ Generation member and actress Yoona will host a special live broadcast in celebration of her birthday.
On May 19th KST, SM Entertainment announced the event via Girls’ Generation’s official channels, sharing a notice titled “YOONA’s MINI ROOM.” The agency stated, “In celebration of Yoona’s birthday, ‘YOONA’s MINI ROOM’ will be held on May 30th at 5 PM (KST).”
Along with the schedule, fans were encouraged to participate in a survey to help shape the content of the live stream. Responses submitted by May 21st at 11:59 PM (KST) may be delivered directly to Yoona during the live, allowing her to interact with fans and respond in real time.
‘YOONA’s MINI ROOM’ will stream live on Girls’ Generation’s official Weverse and TikTok channels on May 30th at 5 PM KST, the day of her birthday.
Meanwhile, Yoona is currently filming the upcoming drama 'The Tyrant’s Chef', based on the web novel “Surviving as the Chef of Yeonsan-gun” by author Park Gook-jae, which was serialized from 2022 to 2023. In the drama, she plays the lead role of Yeon Ji Young, a French chef who time-travels and ends up serving a tyrannical king with a refined palate. The fantasy survival romance drama is set to air in the second half of 2025.
Yoona’s birthday livestream ‘YOONA’s MINI ROOM’ will take place on May 30th at 5 PM KST.
