Former ILLIT member Lee Youngseo has been spotted preparing for her debut in High Up Entertainment's new girl group.
According to K-netizens, Lee Youngseo was recently spotted filming content with the current debut lineup at High Up Entertainment. The label, home to STAYC, is expected to launch its new girl group some time in the latter half of 2025.
Lee Youngseo is well-known among K-Pop fans as a former contestant on the JTBC idol survival program 'R U Next?' (2023). She ultimately finished 2nd place on the program, earning a spot in the debut team which would later become ILLIT. However, shortly before ILLIT's debut, BeLift Lab announced Lee Youngseo's departure from the team based on mutual agreement.

While it was previously rumored that Lee Youngseo left the K-Pop industry to "focus on her studies", it's now been confirmed that the trainee is at High Up Entertainment. Other known members of the new High Up girl group include former SM Entertainment trainee Na Haeun and former 'I-Land 2' contestant Park Yeeun.
