J-Hope of BTS has made history by appearing on the cover of Billboard Magazine as a solo artist.
On May 20th (local time), the American music publication Billboard Magazine revealed the cover of its May issue featuring J-Hope through its official website and social media channels. In the photoshoot, J-Hope captivates global fans with his relaxed yet refined charm.

He is the first Korean male solo artist ever to appear on the cover of Billboard Magazine, a platform regarded as one of the benchmarks of global influence and mainstream recognition. BTS previously featured on special issues in 2018 and the August 2021 edition.
Billboard described J-Hope as “a performer with overwhelming stage presence and magnetic choreography who has long drawn attention. He played a pivotal role in BTS’s rise to global stardom.”

In the interview that accompanied the photoshoot, J-Hope shared, “Just as I was inspired by the artists I admired as a child, I hope my music brings positive energy to someone out there. I want to grow as an artist who delivers light and courage wherever I go.”
J-Hope has long been considered a symbol of hope for fans and fellow artists around the world. His world tour, 'HOPE ON THE STAGE,' was born from this very essence of his name—Hope. J-Hope was deeply involved in the creative process of the tour, including stage design, choreography, costumes, and props, infusing it with sincerity. He added, “Going forward, I’ll continue to present performances that unite everyone through the power of music.”
