Singer BIBI has opened up about her affection for her agency and her ambitious goals, expressing her desire to bring in significant profits for the label.
On the May 14th episode of MBC’s variety show 'Radio Star' (Episode 914), BIBI appeared alongside Noh Sa Yeon, Hyun Young, and Charlesenter, sharing candid insights into her journey and dreams.
During the show, BIBI introduced the building where her agency operates. The agency is run by legendary artists Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae. Contrary to expectations, the agency’s office is modest and located in Uijeongbu, sharing space with other businesses. BIBI explained that the upper floors are used by an academy while only the second floor and the basement serve as their office.
Hyun Young expressed surprise given BIBI’s growing popularity and frequent concert tours. Host Kim Gu Ra added that even with BIBI’s breakout success, it is not easy for Tiger JK to run an entire company.
BIBI revealed her aspirations, saying that she wants to earn 5 billion KRW (about $3.65 million) in pure profit for the company. She recalled how her CEO treated her with care from the beginning. Even when she was a rookie, he always flew her business class. Meanwhile, their staff had to endure 12-hour flights in economy, which stayed with her.
She continued by saying that she wants to do the same for her team, including juniors and managers. She wants to earn enough to charter a private jet someday. One of her dreams is to build a new company building that everyone can be proud of.
BIBI’s heartfelt remarks showcased not only her gratitude and loyalty but also her determination to succeed together with the people behind her rise.
