EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun has set a remarkable record by becoming a four-time consecutive million-seller.
According to his agency INB100, Baekhyun’s 5th mini album 'Essence of Reverie,' released on May 19, surpassed 1 million copies sold within just three days (as of the 21st, based on Hanteo Chart data).
This achievement came two days faster than his previous release, the 4th mini album 'Hello, World,' marking yet another career high for Baekhyun.
With this new album released approximately eight months after his last, Baekhyun once again proved his consistent strength as a solo artist. Of his five solo albums, four have now sold over 1 million copies, proving his continued success with each release.
His latest album 'Essence of Reverie' explores Baekhyun’s position between reality and idealism. It symbolically reflects on both the past he has built and the future he aims to pursue, offering a deep dive into the essence of Baekhyun as an artist.
Baekhyun will continue promotions with a performance of the title track “Elevator” on KBS2’s 'Music Bank' airing on the 23rd.
